HOW TO JOIN THE TRAINSTOP CLUB

Over the last few weeks we have had a number of questions on how to become a Trainstop club member.

Firstly, what is the Trainstop Club?

The Trainstop Club is an invite only training club that helps aspiring AFL players get selected into talent league and state league teams. How do we do this?

Firstly we only take in players we think are capable of making these teams and just need a little push along and access to contacts to get there. Our biggest selection criteria is work ethic and desire- we can assist with the rest.

Once we have picked our squad we begin training in October. Our training sessions are taken by Talent League, State League or even sometimes AFL recruiters and coaches.

Our coaches create a profile on you, what are your strengths, what do you need to work on and give you realistic goals.

Training is twice per week and players we think are ready for the next level get connected with the relevant recruiters and list managers.

Some of the highlights from last seasons Pre-Season club include 2 players making the state combine, 10 players making VFL squads, 16 players making Talent League squads and 1 player making the national squad.
