Someone once asked me what’s the most important thing I should do to improve my health. And whilst there is obviously no one clear cut answer to that question, the first thing that came to my mind was sleep. Why sleep?
Well, sleep affects the way we feel and function which in turn affects whether we feel like training the next day, or what mood we’re in or what foods we choose to eat.
So as you can see sleep has a massive flow-on effect with our health and wellbeing. And if you sit back and think about it I’m sure you can think of a time when you haven’t had a great sleep and the effect that had on your next day, maybe it was even as recent as last night.
